It is the best money (as a sales rep.) I have made. (especially in central VA, as we're not the busiest, in terms of business sales) I am a PT Sales and Service Rep. ('til I get through college)
Commissions are decent, of course the better payout is on the higher sales and higher rates, and more features that you sell. Such as text messaging and mobile web and the new touch-to-talk service, that is due to expand and be evern better. The only drawback is a 180 day change in the commission cycle (say someone leaves, or gets their phone disconnected and service terminated within 180 days of you selling it) leaving you with some negatives in your current month. However, you are in a call center and aren't actively demonstrating a phone in front of a person on the sales floor. So I truely can't say what call center policy is.
I think you do get a phone, I'm almost sure (or at least one at a signifigant discount).

But if your doing it just so you can get a free cell phone, you're a tool and you should go be a wal-mart greeter somewhere. No offense to wal mart greeters.
Alltel is certainly corporate in its approach and TighT in the rear in its attitude. Main problem I have had is they tend to pay a slight bit better but the stiff top down attitude throws a higher level of tension on an already tense retail atmosphere.
Same as WWC, they push a team attitude but pay out on individual revenue so you end up with office tension over who is getting the sales and a hidden tension over who gets what customer/sales that another rep may have dealt with in the past. My feeling is that a store...
