Aircards, (sorry kinda long)

Ok so I just had a custy that wanted an aircard but wanted to make sure that even though we advertise as unlimited internet for the monthly rate that, unlike Verizon, who he currently had a card through, we truly meant it and had no maximum data transfer amount..I was sure that we didnt but unfortunately had never really been in the situation before to find out.
About 2 minutes later an employee from a store in the mall that also carries Alltel as well as Sprint walks in my store walks right up to the us and says: "I checked on that for you and they do have a limit, even on the 99 dollar plan. However Sprint has an unlimited aircard plan with no limit on data." I looked at her questioningly and said to my customer that I would check on i...

Ouch. Ya', aircards have been hard to come buy, sold out several times. I would have politely pointed out to the poacher that they were incorrect and that they would need to leave.
We keep selling out when we get aircards in. The T-Mobile store nearby has some of our brochures and they actually send customers to us.

Good job on that sale genii! You know what's ironic though? I work in a Sprint call center now, so I know for a fact that Sprint is the company that has a usage restriction on aircards. That Shack employee had noooo clue what she was talking about... or she was just lying to get a sale.
Either way, she's a jerk.
