Btw for anyone interested, 1x will have roaming start June 23rd. Verizon and Alltel now have a roaming agreement among the 1x.

This is interesting, so if VZW and Alltel have a 1x roaming agreement does this mean that my VZW Blackberry will work in say Lincoln, Nebraska an Alltel market? VZW has licenses in Lincoln but no service as of yet as they are converting the Qwest towers over to VZW so they can begin service there. All of of Omaha people lose our data service when we leave Omaha to go to Lincoln which is a pain.

Check the Verizon coverage map. It should be but the agreements do not cover every tower or area so check the maps or call Verizon and let them tell you for sure. Next they will have evdo roaming and that will be cool.
