E815 if it's available to you. If you MUST pick between the other two, it's close. If external buttons bother you, get the Nokia. If NO options for keypad-lighting/back-lighting bothers you, get the V710. I've owned the V710 and experimented with 6255i from Alltel. Honestly, the edge goes to V710 IMHO.

The E815 is for Verizon, not Alltel, we only have the 6255i and V710 available. One question, how do you remove those shortcut icons on the display screen on the V710 it blocks the wallpaper from being seen? That doesn't make sense. The Nokia doesn't have that. Also the Nokia allows you to put a wallpaper on the sub LCD.

Haven't had a chance to play with the new Nokia phone. There's no keypad or back light? How are you supposed to use the phone in the dark? Am I missing something here?

Unfortunately, Nokia is the one missing something here. It is sad but true, NO lighting options !!!

The backlight has no timer so when it goes off you must hit a button to turn it back on. It is really annoying to the poster and I can empathize with him. I just wish that you could set a timer so that it would not go off.

I understand that. My T720 has a 30 second limit. Sounds like a great phone otherwise. hate to see a small oversight like that.

Amen brother. This is the ONLY flip phone I've ever seen with no lighting options :-(
