Does Alltel limit Bluetooth?

I work for Verizon, but use Alltel. (Don't tell anyone 😈 ) Verizon has limited Bluetooth capabilities on most of their phones. You can do most of the things people need such as using the headsets and handsfree kits and syncing with a computer to transfer phonebooks and calandars, but you can't use most of the phones as a modem or transfer files with Bluetooth. Does Alltel limit Bluetooth capabilities as well, or do we get full use of the features?

And for the record, in my area, I will stay with Alltel. Verizon is a great company, but you gotta go with what works best where you are.

How much is unlimited data and how fast is it? If I can use bluetooth to get on the net I have no use for my home phone anymore.
