Will Alltel pick up new phones / new technology soon?
With the completion of Alltel buying Western Wireless, does anyone know if we might see a launch of new phones, especially video models, coming to Alltel?
And any word on EV-DO technology coming either?

RUMOR has it there is Treo 650 coming out, a new samsung but unsure of phone, and two more lower end Nokias by the end of the year. The Nokia's are the only two I have heard from a very reputable person but the other two are strong rumors but I know that Alltel is to have ten phones by the end of the year. EVDO is already launched in TAmpa, Lansing, and Cleveland/Akron with a test market in Little Rock. 1X should be global by year end and look for evdo to grow significantly also by years end.

How do all these phones help us by the years end, that's 6 months away! Alltel needs a few more camera phones now, the great technology is out now! I wonder, if you buy a phone CDMA off Ebay from like Verizon can you use it with Alltel?

Really I hope they fix the issues the 5550 is starting to have cuz geez that used to be the greatest phone but no more!!!
