Snuggles

I'm ready to upgrade my phone. I currently have the Audiovox 8910 and get terrible signal strength. I need something that gets great signal in low lying areas such as basements, thick walls, hospitals, etc...
What would be the best bet?

ANy one of the three MOtos, Especially the 710, NOkia 6255, or if you can find one the best would be the 3587. Rumor has it a couple of new NOkia bar phones should be coming out so maybe wait a month or two!

I heard the 6255i didn't get good signal strength like the V710?

And what is the 3587?

Also, I can't wait a month or two, it's painful, lol. Which Nokia phones?

Well if I heard correctly then which phone should I get? I'm tired of getting 0-1 bar on my phone and switching from analog to digital and vice versa.

True the nokia is a little below the Moto 710 but I still feel it is one of the better signal phones out right now. Both are good phones so it depends on which one you really like better.

You are 100% correct sir. One should play with both phones for a while in the store and then decide.

I have these three phones on my hip at all times, the Nokia 6255i, the Motorola v710 and the Blackberry 7250 all with alltel and please do not ask me why I have three phones on my hip all same carrier, I do not even know the answer but from what I have expierenced here and I live in a rural area in NC. The Motorola v710 is superior when it came to signal strength, followed by the blackberry then the Nokia dead last in my books. I was in an area and did not feel like wasting mins on my 710 so I used my Nokia and dropped three calls in a row so ...

Well first off, I can't get the V710 at $199 because I have a year left on my contract. So I'm paying full price $300 out of contract, minus 25% UNC discount, so $225?

2ndly, playing with the two phones in store doesn't equate to trying to get service with them in my basement apt or the hospital.

Do I wait for some superior phone to be released or just get the V710?

If you don't get a strong signal with the V710 you won't get a strong signal with any phone in that particular location. So try the V710. Give it a week or two. You can return it if not satisfied. And oh yeah, be sure when you buy it that "they" do a tower update on your phone before you step out the door. If your sa...

They are the same just the first one pushes you onto alltel when you could be roaming on another carrier. I believe but they are the same thing.
