Don't believe Alejandro on this point. Motorola is the most reliable, trouble-free phone you can purchase. Al HATES all things Moto. He is blinded by hatred. It all started out when he was a young child growing up in rural Mississippi. One day he ..... oh never mind ... this is getting silly. 🙄

LOL Most reliable! HAH! I work at a cell phone repair shop. We do warranty work for Motorola, Kyocera, Audiovox and Nokia. I also have to fill out all the warranty paper work to send to our main office so they can send it all to the manf. We do 2-3 times as many warranty repair jobs on Motorola than we do anything else.

Motorola have CRAPPY charging ports. the pins become lifted WAY to easily. I know on v400's the audio would go out ALL the time. and numerous other problems..

You do 3 times the repair on Motorolas because they sell 5 times as many phones as any other.
I will concede the part about the crappy charging port. However, I hear the "Tentative -- LOL -- V323 has a differ...

every motorola phone is defective, if its not the charging ports its the speakers or earpieces or the microphones. Half the phones don't hold a charge after about 6 months. a 5550 is better than any motorola, that should tell you how bad a motorola is.

Not all Moto's are bad. Granted the v265 and v60 are about the worst phones ever made (aside from the AV8910) and the charging ports are horrible. On the other hand so far I'm pleased with what I've seen from the 815.

Buy it, as long as it is under a yr old with no physical or liquid damage it is covered. NOw for the other posters Moto's are very problematic even though I do have to admit I do the least amount of warranty swaps on the v262 265 and 710 out of the current inventory.

warranties are non-transferable though i personally have sold around 10 710's and have had around 8 get sent back to motorola for repair. As a salesperson i do not want to sell motorolas because i do not want to get the complaints about them, especially when they will be stuck with a suck-@ss loaner for 8 weeks.
