I do not know what kind of coverage you need but they do offer some unlimited plans for 70 or 100 depending on coverage but I would check with the local store to see what the offering is in your area.

Here in Charlotte NC there is an unlimited plan but it only works in charlotte...no where else and i'm not sure on the nation wide calling. Alltel doesn't really acknowledge it's availability but it is available

It doesn't do any good if a company gives you 10,000 minutes for $30 a month, if you can't use them in many areas. Their coverage lacks too much. I'll pay extra for something I can actually use.

Midwest is 400,000 customers and I wanna say Western Was around 2 or 2.5 million even though I might be wrong. With those numbers they sound similiar to me when you look at is proportionately.

From what I see that Alltel offers here is $199.99 for 4000 minutes. But has long distance roaming charges.

as stated earlier in this thread, the national freedom plan with the increased minutes and no roaming or LD will be available Dec 1st 😉
