SunCom has had this since March 1. www.whowillyour10be.com SunCom is a regional carrier in NC/SC/GA/TN, and Alltel's new my circle is an old idea. Good going Alltel, you have really changed wireless with this....let's see what else you can copy......

Just like Sprints "First Carrier with mobile to home."

Uhh, it is a new idea for free. Alltel offers it for FREE. Suncom charges for it, $10 per line regional, $15 per line national. Suncom is a ripoff. Alltel is nice and cheap and they rock. 😁

A new idea as of March 1, when SunCom launched it.
"Suncom charges for it, $10 per line regional, $15 per line national."
You are right, so...
for 39.99, you have 500 minutes and mobile to anyone to the 10 you call the most.
59.99 (Alltel) vs 39.99 (SunCom), How is that a ripoff, again? Guess you went to school at the same Little Rock High School, where ALLTEL management went to.

Who cares! Most people don't give a damn, which company started what gimmick. In fact, 99% of customers DON'T CARE! They want everything for free (handsets and service). Intra-carrier Mobile to Mobile started the same way. One carrier stated they pioneered the idea when some smaller carriers where already doing it. Guess what…. customers didn’t care who started it, they just wanted it!
Also, while you are showing off your SunCom tattoo to everyone, SunCom management will be trying to figure out how much money they can get when the sell out to some other wireless carrier. You as a customer or an employee will not enjoy the process (especially, if you are an employee).
Same crap probably will happen to Alltel in 2010.

Yes just like Sprint was the "FIRST TO OFFER MOBILE TO HOME." Which mind you Alltel has offered for the better part of three years or more and sprint just rolled it out. So the Average family plan and many Normal Alltel subs qualify for My Circle without paying a dime for it while Suncom offers it for at least $10. let me know when they get out of 3 or 4 states and then we will talk.

I'd recommend comparing apples to apples:
Suncom nationwide plan : $29.99 (300 min)
mobile - to - anyone : $15.00
mobile-to-mobile + night/wkend : $15.00
(total $59.99)
Alltel nationwide plan : $59.99 (900 min)
My-Circle : free
Mob-2-mob + night/wkend: free
(total $59.99)
Suncom is cheaper, but only if you skip normal mobile-to-mobile and nights and weekends, and only if you're ok with 1/3 the minutes. When you add these features, you end up with the same price, but still fewer minutes.
As a note, it should be noted that I work at Alltel, so the above should be confirmed by the consumer, but I'm sure you'll find the same results. It should also be noted that professorhacker has stated in another t...

Way to break it down! Much appreciated. Let me be the first to say I love this my circle thing and It brings a smile to my face to tell my customers about this and sign them up!!!

Just thought i might throw in the mix Suncoms unlimited plan for only $69.99 w/no extra fees period.
...
My Alltel plan for work is an unlimited 69.99 with a good coverage area (not a business account either). You had to ask for it because they do not advertise it.
...
Suncom now charges taxes and fees. Harry pitched no taxes and fees for months and now Suncom DOES charge taxes and fees! Also, the unlimited plan is now 79 bucks with 49 dollar adders, roaming outside of NC & SC is 50 cents a minute...no thanks
...
MyCircle is nothing more than MOC x 10...but now out of market #'s are allowed...Alltel has had MOC #'s around much longer than SunCom's dealie...
...
Sir, what you do not realize is that Alltel tried My Circle in several test markets LAST YEAR. They started it as 5 dollars to any 5 numbers back in mid 2005.
