Does Alltel disable their BT the same way Verizon does? Trying to make some ringtones for a buddy with a V3c on Alltel (West Texas).

Thanks

OK guy, so how do you do it? It's not user error, it is user doesn't know how to in the first place.

I know how on any GSM handset but the Alltel interface is new to me. Once I can get my computer to recognize the handset I should be fine. When making the BT discoverable the phone cannot be found by the computer, the same computer I use with all my other BT handsets in the store.

Thanks in advance.

copy / move the file using BT...have your PC in discoverable mode, it should work...theres also a USB cable that works with the RAZR / BLACKBERRY for $29.99, consider that

OK,

Trying to move the file from the computer to the handset. PC does not find the phone. PC finds all the other BT phones we try. Is there a section of the manual that deals with this. I put the phone in discoverable mode via the normal menu.

THERE'S NO REASON WHY YOU SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO SEND / RECEIVE MP3S VIA MMS OR BT ...WELL EXCEPT IF YOU'RE SLOW, WHICH BY THE LENGTH OF THIS THREAD IS MOST LIKELY THE CASE.
