I have used the treo and LOVED it. Now I am using the 6700 to try to learn more about it to be able to better sell it. It all depends on your priorities in a phone. I like them both and wish I could combine feature of both to make one.

I want a smartphone mainly for going on the internet. I also want one that has a good keyboard. A camera would be good, but not anything I really need.

I would say the 6700. It's wifi so if you are in distance you can pick that up. Some of the sites I went to did not come up as well on the treo as it does the 6700. I have smaller hands so whe holding the 6700 the slide open keypad is harder for me to hold and type, therefore I use the stylus and the keypad on the screen. The 6700 does have a better camera as well. Haven't figured out all the tricks but I like it. I do more texting and it is easier on the treo. Bluetooth works much better on the 6700 as well. I had issues on the treo with it and didn't have the time or patience to mess with it. I like them both but for what you are going to use it for the 6700 wold be best.
