Best Alltel Phone
I need a phone that gets best signal strength even in basements and hospitals, and great reception as well as having a good camera.

Moto 710 and Nokia 6255 are end of life, scratch them off. I would go with the 815 before the razr, and the 6235 is pretty cool, but not a flip. It will not do mp3s, at least there isn't enough onboard memory to do many, but neither will the razr (well, without modification) The 6235 is not bluetooth, but does have infrared and fm radio.

As far as I know, the Alltel lineup is much longer than that, I just picked from the phones that you listed. The 815 does the most, and has a transflash drive for additional memory. I don't work for Alltel, I'm a USCC agent, and we carry or have carried all the same phones except for the 815 which is an upgrade for the 710. The 6235 does everything the Razr does except blue tooth, and it's usually cheaper. And it's more durable, and I like Nokia above Motorola anyday. That's just my two bits.

Snuggles, as much as I dislike you, the 815 is the best.
I have it with Alltel, sell a lot with Verizon.
One cool thing is if you have bluetooth on your computer, you can sync up and send things without paying (i.e. ringtones).
Also, nice size screen, nice big keypad, and a quality camera, and also mp3s.

I think you need to grow the hell up. First off, either V3c, 6235, or the E815 will suit your needs. But you can't expect them to be perfect.

The Nokia 6235i has great reception.
It just seems that tri-mode phones get better reception, especially when your inside buildings.

I don't know. I have the v710 and a family member has that one. They get a lot of dropped calls in areas where mine is fine. That is the only reason I'm so confident in saying the e815 and 710 are the best as far as reception goes...might just be a bad phone but we've had it checked out and nothing is wrong with it, and it has the latest PRL....I dunno....

I have a RAZR and I work in a "Dungeon", it is an old bomb shelter from the '50s with 2' thick concrete interior walls all around me (not including the brick outer walls) and a solid steele interior door, and I have never had a reception problem in the 4 months that I have had my RAZR. 😁
