LG AX490 Camera

Snuggles

This camera is only a 640 x 480 resolution.
How will it's photo quality compare to the E815 and LG 355's megapixel resolution?

Also, with this release when will alltel's next phone release be?

Next release is August 3rd.

You need to answer other questions about resolution first:

Are you going to be printing or e-mailing your pictures?

Will you be trying to use them as backdrops for your computer?

After you answer those questions, a better answer can be given.

You do need to keep in mind that if you're not doing any of the above, a mega pixel camera is just an e-peen pumper.

I'm well aware of megapixels and the purpose they serve. It would be nice to have large wallpapers and printed photos from camera pictures. The direct printer USB from camera. I know that resolution does not indicate quality. Because the 6255i takes much better quality photos then the V710 for example. But how is the photo quality of the 490 and previously released 355?

Seeing as no one that I know of has played with the 490, I can't say...heck, I still haven't played with the 355...the dummy looks ok, we just haven't gotten any in yet.

I've heard that the camera quality is the same as the AX 5000, so you may want to find someone with one of these, and print one out for a idea.

From what I've seen, you can get a decent 3x5, but nothing stellar. Great for memory shots though or similar size pics on the web.
