MOTO Q
Does anyone have a firm date for the Q release?
...
they would be lucky to have it by 1st q 07. should switch carriers. we have had it for like 6 months for the silver model and the black is out online.

Verizon had an exclusive agreement with Moto for that phone. No other carrier had it because of this. This is quite common in the cell phone world. Should someone switch from VZW to Cingular for the new samsung blackjack or whatever it is?

Eh. Both are varying opinion and marketing. They have a stong network and very good CS. But that doesn't mean that Alltel doesn't. Where I live Verizon stinks compared to Alltel. can any carrier really prove without a shadow of a doubt the claims that all carriers make? thats nearly impossible to do with drive testing or surveys becuase their are so many factors that can come into play but Verizon Wireless has so far successfuly won the network supperiority race where it really matters: th...

True, but a large part of that is marketing. Their commercials say it and most consumers don't know any better to be able to tell. Here is how I personally would rate network quality nationwide.
1. Verizon
2. Alltel (imo, vzw and alltel are very close, but i'm giving vzw the nod because of the money/manpower/resources behind them.)
3. Cingular (Kind of a toss up with Sprint)
4. Sprint (Kind of a toss up with Cingular)
5. US Cellular
6. T-Mobile (Mostly just lacking coverage/towers, they generally have better voice quality then their Cingular GSM counterparts)
