I am moving to Nebraska where they still have good old cell one!
In nebraska cellular one is still offered under the cellular one western wireless name which i used to have before stupid alltel bought them out! I love cell one so i think i will move to nebraska! The only good thing about alltel is all access pass unlimited is only 19.99 and on cell one just unlimited texting is only 24.95 rip off!

wow I will go phone less before I pack up and move to a carrier. I think a mobile phone consumes to much of your daily thinking in life!

it was a joke i was not seriously moving there and i do think about my service cause after the cell one was bought out by alltel alltel took down the nearest tower to my house causing me to have horrid signal and roam in my basement....and i live like a mile from downtown largest city in south dakota so why you moving to japan

Seriously, there are several factors in why Alltel removed the tower. I can't debate if the was a tower that was operated WWC and then AT. A strong possibility could have been underlying issues with the tower (i.e. lease agreements, regulations etc).
Example:
My office building has an Alltel tower attached to the building (12 tower building). The owner of the building wanted more money when the lease was coming to expire. Alltel has not changed anything when it comes to physical space nor have been a problem. The fact was the owner of the building (who is my boss) wanted more money. Why? Cingular was paying more money on another building he owned. Long story short, Alltel attempted to find another space to construct a “mono-pole” towe...
