WILL THE NEW Q9 COME OUT FROM ALLTEL ANYONE KNOW?

Was thinking about trying axcess tv and was just wondering how the picture quality is on the v3m. Also does it make a big difference whether your in a 1x market as opposed to EVDO(i'm assuming it makes a big differnce)? My last question...is it worth $10 a month?

Okay my question is this... I have Alltel and I am thinking about buying a Q...I want to check my email but I have no interest in using the blackberry service or paying the extra $44.95 a month...The Q can check normal POP email accounts by simply logging in and downloading the email like any other client...Do I really need anything other then mobile web to be able to do this? I am okay with having it use the internet once an hour for like 2 minutes to check an email account. This is feasible right?

I am about to activate a new line with Alltel and wanted some opinions on which phone to choose. The most important things in this order are talk time, reception, and I prefer a phone with EVDO. I can't believe that the razr doesn't have EVDO (bad mistake). I have a personal phone that is a razr anyways so I am really not interested in having 2 of the same phones, but I want the best choice. The Alltel rep I spoke to really pushed the razr. I would really appreciate any advice. Thanks!!! 🙂 🙂

I just got this phone as a replacement and i am trying to figure some stuff out. I got a cable/software package (the driver for Samsung phones) so i can put mp3s on the phone. All my pics/ringtones were deleted when i switched this card out of my old phone and the u520 reformatted it. Anyways, how do you set the mp3s as ringers. I still got them saved on my computer and i have put them on the card, but all i can do is listen to them....Does anybody know a way of putting your own ringtones on this phone? please help.

I was just on the Alltel site and the 8600 and the KRZR are gone!!! Are they discontinued? If so that sucks, I was going to get the 8600 😳 😢

There was a guy that just called my store saying that Alltel is getting a digital bag phone. I brushed it off as regular customer nonsense, but my boss said that Alltel is getting one. I don't see any information about it in the phones or news section. Does anyone have any information about a "digital bag phone?" It doesn't make much sense to me. I'm pretty sure the FCC put a cap on the amount of power you can put into a cell phone so why would you want to carry around a huge bag phone? Anyone have any light on this?

and the steady one, does it mean your roaming and you will pay roaming charges???

Can anybody help me with this phone?
For the last year or so i've had the kyocera kx5 slider, and while it worked i liked it. It came with the mp3 headset as well as as the cables necessary to put mp3s/ringtones on the phone. It crapped out on me, and I was given the u520 as the replacement. I switched my data card, it didnt recognize anything, i formatted it and all my ringtones were gone. How do I go about putting stuff on this phone? I dont want to buy ringtones, i want to be able to make my own. Any help would be appreciated. Again, this is the Samsuing u520 i need help with, and from what im reading on the internet, you might not even be able to set your mp3s as ringtones.

Hopefully someone can help me out on this one...I had a LG 245 and someone stole it. The person had called me and tried to get me to buy it from them, which I was going to, but they played a game with me for a month. Well I called in to do an insurance claim and was denied because I only had thirty days to make one. Now I am stuck without a phone and no help from anyone. Alltel doesn't offer used phones for customer's and there only solution was to sign up a pre paid account and put that phone on my postpaid. Does anyone know a way to get around this? I don't want to have to buy one at full retail or get scammed on a used one via pawn shop, ebay, or some hole in the wall cell phone shop. Please Help?!?!?!

My wife and I renewed our contracts about 2months ago and got razrs. For whatever reason her phone has better service than mine. Usually one or two bars more 😲 . I live in the city but travel to rural areas quite a bit and those one or two bars mean a lot. What will they do if i go to the store? I'm thinking they will give me some bs and send me on my way. Anybody else ever had this problem before?

Just heard from a friend who works at alltel, he said the Treo will be discontinued soon.

I get to upgrade next month and I'm pretty sure I want the LG AX 8600, but just today I saw the price online went from 49 to 99. Is this reflective of the in-store price as well? Also, does anyone have any suggestions about the LG?

Just read that Google wants to get in on the 700 Mhz auction next year. Comcast has also expressed an interest! Do you know what this potentially means? With the possibility of signals being transmitted by different means, perhaps, one day, eventually leading to satellite transmission, we may not be talking about bad tower reception a whole lot longer. It won't be just the names we know now, if they stick around...it could be a whole new ball game!
