Question for Qwest employees.
What are your main selling points when compared to Verizon? Besides having an unlimited plan and the "one bill" thing, how the hell do you get customers to choose you?

I do not work for Qwest but as far as i can see in the Denver area folks choose Qwest as a convenient seemless tie into their landline phone. Qwest owns most of the infrastructure and is the giant landline carrier so they have an easier marketing effort. From a financial perspective their packages are less expensive than many.
Personally I use VZW in this area and a reseller for my landline.

Our main selling points for wireless are the combined billing as you had said, one number service with your home phone with Qwest, AND the nights and weekends starting at 7pm. I always tell the customer they can recieve the 7pm nights and weekends on a ONE YEAR CONTRACT too as Verizon's you need a TWO YEAR CONTARCT. But, us...

You should be telling your customers that qwest offers the 7PM nights and verizon does NOT offer them, 1 or 2 year contract, period. So that is a selling point either way.

I work for (an outsourcer for) Qwest, and I agree that we should be doing this, however, there is one problem with this.
The nights and weekends that we do offer are $5.00/mo starting at 9pm or $10.00/mo starting at 7.
That is the biggest turn-off (aside from the original package pricing) for about 60% of the customers I have calling in.
