Question for any Quest employees

Why does Quest cold call customers, get them to sign up service, and never ask them where they live. If this key question was asked they would know that the customer does not live in their service area.
The customers thinks they are getting a great deal. They do not do their research probably becuase they assume that since this company is calling them, there would be service there. When in fact there isn't.
So the new customer get's their new phone, they charge it. It's all set to go, they turn the phone on, and.... NO SERVICE!!!!! This would becuase Quest does not have service in their location.
Why not just ask the customer where they live before selling them service? These kinds of situations give the cellular industry...

the west coast im not too sure if you mean california or nevada but they are the only states in our 14 state coverage area/selling area that we cannot sell in and normally the only ones that dont have coverage(but they do have wireless coverage) as to the cold calling Im not to sure about, i can only think of one call center that does out bound but i dont think they cold call not sure though they are in a different state then i am
...
When is quest going to sell out?
