Windows Mobile Standard

Howdy. I bought an unlocked SMT 5600 that was set up on ATTWS and now have it set up on t-mobile. The ATTWS home screen that is still on the phone has an email notification section (below where it says "sms:1" it says "email: 1")... the only problem is the icons on the top of the screen are fixed and mmode is one of them and it drives me nuts. The other home screens (windows basic, windows default, etc.) do not have an e-mail notification on it. I even downloaded a different xml file that was designed to have it on there but it doesn't show up on my phone. Any ideas how to remedy this?

On a side note, is the home screen that Orange uses in the UK on the C500 available in XML format ? Is it floating around that anyone knows?
