change OS samsung SPHi700 to Linux

Hi, my name is alex.
I wanna try linux on my pocket pc.
does anyone know about how to backup and restore (bootloader+data) for samsung SPHi700 and change my OS Pocket PC become linux.

I am almost sure that your data will be saved as long as you sync before you try to flash Linux....now How you are going to do that I would like to know.
