Samsung

I have a Blackjack ii and have downloaded the hack for the gps. have also shortcut to the gpstest. it works GREAT with WLS and even has turn by turn at no charge!!! Only drawback is the initial startup when GPS has been off is slow. Takes about 10 min to find sat. signal. Not a real big deal but I am typical in that I want what I want yesterday, not 10 min from now. haha. My question is does it hurt the GPS receiver in my phone to constantly leave GPSTest running? When I do this, of course WLS has immeadiate signal anytime I go to it. I have not noticed any problems as of yet and have had the test running non-stop for about 24 hours. Just curious about the future. any help???
Also, WLS has the com4 port which I can use, or the intermmediate driver setting. Why one over the other?? they both work great after signal is acquired. any more help???
