Hi i purchased the Lg Vx8000 from verizon which i have been very happy with their celluar service for the past year and thats why i extended for another 2 years. My question is before i bought the phone, i did research and found out it has mp3 features. When i recieved the phone i played around and cannot figure out for the life of god how to get the mp3's uploaded onto my phone using email, 3gupload or any wap loading services. I called verizon and the guy said, just like the v710 they do not offer the mp3 features on their phones.

Is their any way around to this? I can send my self mp3 converted to midi files all day long but cannot get a full lenght mp3 file onto my phone.

any help would be appreaciated, or else the phone will be retured to verizon for false misleading sales of the phone to me. The phone is bigger than most normal phones and ive accepted that with the great camera, screen size and the thought of having an mp3 player with 128mb memory..

It has been said by many on the 8000 forum that this will be resolved with the next firmware update.

Also - if you get a data cable you can put mp3s on there. 🙂

Nothing you can do by e-mail/3gupload, etc until the phone's software is upgraded.
