More ? about 3650
1. Right now I have a Palm-based Kyocera and love the wide range of applications and ability to view actual web pages (not simply XHTML or WML-supported pages.
It appears that there is not nearly the wide range of software available for the 3650, but I won't mind that if I am still able to access real web pages via the phone -- I can just write some simple database apps and stick them on a web page to handle most of the Palm apps I'd miss -- so, can I access standard, simple .htm pages (via a text-only browser or something similar) using the 3650 or some 3rd party browser?
2. A strong selling point of the 3650 is Bluetooth and my ability to use it as a bluetooth modem for my iBook. I see a lot of internet "options" available with T-Mobile and am not sure if I will need to buy any of these if I want to use the 3650 as a modem with my current ISP. Will I? Right now, my Kyocera just uses the regular phone minutes when I connect. Is it the same with T-Mobile, or will I need to buy some additional Internet package?
Thank you so much! I really hope these are answered favorably as this phone looks really cool and I'm having a hard time finding a phone with these two important options (accessing .htm files and bluetooth)!
we're a uk software developer (www.callflash.com (beta site - no working links yet!); we've got a new app which allows voice messaging to mobiles and landlines and we want to test it in the usa; we plan to sell it on handango for around $30 but you can have it free if you review it for us using the 3650
it has been technically tested exhaustively in uk and we have reviewers in 10 eu countries but we need to know if the usa voicemail timing (time to talk) is long enough for our replay settings in the usa.
if you would like to join our test group and get the app sent to you just send us an email to 'quickspoke@btinternet.com' with info on phone / operator and your imei number (phone serial= press hash*06hash); we'll send you CallFlas...
