V551 and bluetooth
Is there a way to sync my v551 with my mac or pc? All I can do from my mac is the mac will recognize the phone, and then ask if I want to use the phone as a modem. The sync with address book is greyed out. My pc does this too. Anyone know how to do this? Motorola wont get back to me.

Last that I checked, iSync requires the data connect cable with moto phones

do you know if it is mac compatible? we need then to release a patch or firmware update that lets us sync with bluetooth. I use to have a sony ericson and I could sync with bluetooth. this is crap.

Check the Apple Discussion boards under their Support Tab. This is a known issue with motorola phones not syncing via bluetooth -- must have a usb cable...

I did the setup just like you did on my OS X box, then when I got to the screen about the modem setup, I too said WTF?? So, I simply clicked cancel and then, since the device "motorola phone" was in my window, I found I can now "Browse Device" and "Send file..." from the BT menu in the menubar. I've now downloaded all kinds of wallpapers to my v551.
