Megs I looked into it, and it looks like from Oct. 11th til now I should have already sold enough to get myself a phone and probably a headset as well.

This looks like a DAMN fine sales incentive. Waytogomoto! Now the choice boils down to which phone....I'm leanin towards the a630. The Mpx220 is a little more than I need, not to mention I've been jonesin for the a630 for a while.

yeah, register your sales... i at first chose the mpx, but fell in love with the a630. so i called moto and had them change my pic.

I just wish nokia have the same incentives, i'm a nokia person hands down but can't pass up the motorola phones for free!

I had a day off and registered my Nov. sales. That alone was enough to grab a phone. I too chose the a630 for 2 reasons:

1.) I've been in love with that form factor since it was announced. (I HATE using the keypad for texting)

2.) I just know that I won't use all the features on the Mpx220. I won't bother with the mp3 player, the megapixel camera, or most of the smartphone-type features.

Besides, the only thing I use cameras for on phones is fun and photo ID.

It really is no fair, that this was put into place soley for indirect agents. The V3 contest was much tougher, compared to this. I wish that SE or Nokia would put some incentives into place, so I could push something other than Motorola.

i know what you mean, i love nokia, hands down!! i won the ngage, but since cingular had it made without IM, i had to give it away (i am an aim junkie on the go)

omg megs... thank you for mentioning this contest. the two of us here at this store had a combined 275 points, so we both qualified for tier 4 in one day. the only weird thing is it didn't offer us the choice of a630 and mpx220, it offered the v551 and mpx220.

Weird....I qualified pretty quickly too, but it gave me the choice between the a630, mpx220, v551, and v600. Just like in the rules section. I've just recently qualified for tier 3 and workin my way toward 4.

Does anyone know which BT headset comes with this contest? I can't find it mentioned anywhere and it didn't give me a choice when I qualified.

It could be a market thing, since they have all of our company information. I snagged the mpx220, so I'll be satisfied enough with that.

I don't see anywhere in the rules where it says what kind of bluetooth headset will be available either. I suspect the HS810, since it costs them only about $5 more than the HS801 to make, and also because it's what I got from the V3/V551 contest.

Is it weird that I'm looking forward to the bluetooth pro install car kit? 😁

I was assuming the HS810 as well...especially considering that there aren't any pics of any of their other headsets on the site (except in the quiz). You're right, it may be a market thing, but it doesn't matter to me, a free phone is a free phone. It may also be that the number of people who qualified and selected each model has exceeded the number they've allocated for the contest. I grabbed the a630 when I qualified.

Nahh it's not weird at all that you're looking forward to the car kit. I'd like to grab it myself. BT in-car would be a VERY nice feature for those of us who drive manual transmission vehicles. your all very welcome, but i just learned that if you are employed directly from cingular you do no qualify. BS!!
I was so excited about the a630, now i want to buy it when i quit cingular, but out of sheer principle i won't.

Cingular isn't part of some sort of Motorola Council, but all these agents are??
Agents make more per sale, and now are solely entitled to contests like this??

i had an agent offer me a job, said he'd hire me today if he could, but he is the shadiest of the shadiest 😈 . i wouldn't be able to sleep at night working for him.
i do deal with too much crap, i'd rather have all the money none of the crap, like you guys.

Our store isn't shady, in fact we've got a good customer base who come back repeatedly because we don't rip them off. We also let you curse at phone reps who are idiots. 😁 I know sales sucks, but there are little things to make yourself happy.

I priced all the prizes awarded to tier 4 from this contest.... value is about $900 retail 😕

Such a nice company to give us free stuff.
