Motorola really needs a texting razr phone. Does anyone know if they're gonna have one anytim soon. When??????

What do youy mean a "texting phone?" Like with a QWERTY keypad? If so, I wouldn't hold my breath. Doesn't seem necessary. The RAZR has the same capabilities as lots of phones out there, just in a fancier package.

well considering the issues they've been having with gettin out every other phone with a QWERTY keypad they've announced I wouldn't hold my breath.
Besides, while a landscape folding RAZR would be cool (I'd buy it) I don't think the market's that big for them yet. And sliders don't seem to be Moto's style.

moto is coming out with a RAZRBERRY, which is the razr phone with the blackberry software. this will have a qwerty keyboard. should be a hit.

Ya but when. And will have the same features as the v3. Cause im like 13 and have a razr v3 and im smart enough to use all the features like bluetooth and stuff and i would like that on a razr wit QWERTY keypad. I text alot wit my razr but its too hard wit pressin it over and over again.

Now what's wrong with a 13 year old having a RAZR phone? This is a smart kid. How do you know that aside from being rich that this kid doesn't get good grades and help his family out with all the chores?

ya gotta admit that there's just something wrong with a 13 year old....ANY 13 year old having a cell phone.
Someone PLEASE give me a legitimate reason (aside from contacting parents which I've honestly rarely seen to really happen) that a 13 year old should be given the luxury of having a cell phone and I'll gladly concede the argument.
I'm lookin for a logical, reasonable reason that a NORMAL 13 year old should have a cell phone.

I'm not 13- im 15. But, I have a friend that is 13 that is in my grade (I'm a junior [in highschool]. She homeschooled, got ahead, etc, then came to my school), and she has a hardship license. I think it's pretty safe to say that if anyone drives, they should have a cell phone for at least safety reasons. Now, I know how it seems rediculous to see younger kids with cell phones. My cousin is 9 (I kid you not) and owns a cell phone. Too nice of a cell phone that she'll probably end up dropping into bathtime-with-barbie sometime. But, anyway...my rant is over.

Ok, your friend that has the hardship license....that's fine. I agree with you that anyone who drives should have access to a cell phone. And given that she's been allowed to drive at 13 and all that, she's probably mature enough to handle it. That's why I emphasized "NORMAL 13 year old" in my last post to this thread. Obviously your friend has special circumstances and that's understandable. I'm talking specifically about the kids who DON'T have any special needs or circumstances. The average 13 year old does not need a cell phone.
Let's not forget also that the jury's still out on whether cell phone radiation can have a greater effect on the less developed tissue in an adolescent's body.

Not quite! It will be a Razr style phone with functionality like a Blackberry but NOT the RIM software. Still will be a cool phone. Know this from an inside source at the Batwing company!
