bluetooth dongle VS usb
What is the differences between a bluetooth dongle and a usb cable?
I have a moto v551 and will be using it for mostly mp3 ringtones and also wallpapers.
Which is better for what I want to use it for?
THANKS! 😉

I use Kensington Wireless Bluetooth USB 2.0 Adapter. It is a lot more convenient than plugging the cable up. I use Audacity to rip and edit MP3's to send them to my phone, usually over 100 kb, and it is just as fast and both are probably similar in price.

I checked on ebay for that item and they have it they just don't come with instrucions and or software. Do you know where I can get that cable at a fairly decent price?

Honestly, not sure. I got mine at Best Buy...

You could also order Phone Tools 2 from motorola.com. I think the bluetooth version is about $80 and it has software and a bluetooth module.
Without the software, I use a D-Link adaptor.

Ok...so I went to Best Buy and bought one, installed the software and everything seemed to be working good - I went into the bluetooth setting in my phone and added the device and it said it connected to my computer. I tried sending a mp3 file to my phone and it said connecting to ftp and then it says ftp connection failed, could not connect to device. I don't understand this...I'm gonna try calling their customer service tomorrow morning and see if they can help me.
