MPx220 - voicemail indicator stays on eventhough I don't have any VM.

Anyone else have this problem? I've tried shutting down the phone & have removed the battery but no luck. The indicator keeps coming back on and if I call VM, I have no messages.

Ok, here's what I do when I have a customer that brings me this problem:

1. Call VM from a landline and leave a short message (like "hello" or "testing")

2. Wait a moment and then call VM from the cell phone.

3. Listen to and erase the message.

4. End the call by using the "to end this call" menu option (* or 9 depending on your VM system, don't worry it'll tell you, just listen).

This typically resets the VM indicator and turns it off. If this doesn't work, contact Customer Service and find out if anything can be done on their end.
