Motorola V600 - How to Disable/ change the tone that plays when phone is switched on/off

Hi,

The motorola V600 plays a tone when the phone is switched on or off. I hate the tone - how do i change it or disable it????

Settings, Ring Styles, Detail, Key Volume to 0, will eliminate the startup and shutdown tone.

You can change it by replacing the start~up.mp3 and power~down.mp3 files on a V400. I don't have a data cable or bluetooth adapter yet so can't confirm or deny this on a V600
