razr problem - Insert SIM
My new Razr (silver) says Insert SIM every time I turn it back on. It does get past that, but it feels wrong.
Also, the background screen takes a while (3-5 seconds) to come up after the Cingular logo.
Is it normally so sluggish?

Motorola's in general are slow phones. It will take that long. As for the SIM issue, if you are within 30 days take it back to the store and get a new one. It should NOT do that. Even if it works afterwards, it could still be a sign that it will be defective in the future, and is considered defective NOW. If not in 30 days, warranty that baby!
