Razr buzzing and/or whining sounds / noises

My new Razr emits a low toned buzzing sound from the lower keypad area. It also emits a high pitched whining sound from the upper display area. I think all Razr's may emit the buzzing sound, and many but not all Razr's emit the whining sound. Put your ear against the lower keypad and the upper display to hear these two sounds. How many people hear them? I believe that many Razr's emit these sounds, even though many Razr owners do not notice them. I'm wondering just how many units do and do not emit these sounds. I'm also wondering how many Razr owners can hear the sounds when they listen for them, but don't notice them otherwise. There is an internal notice on this with Cingular stating:

(Hum) The keypad is held close to the ear (much closer than in normal calling position). It is due to the inherent properties of the electro-luminescent backlights used in the product.
