I was VERY interested in that Moto V 710 because it has all the features I want PLUS a bigger display. However, I took the time to download the User Manual and found that Voice Dialing for this cell phone means "Saying the digits into the phone" NOT "Saying the person's name."

How does this make it any easier on me? I would have to either know the phone # by heart, or I would have to search for it in the V710, and that takes time, and more so in a poorly lit room. How is saying "384-6621" easier than saying, "Gladys"?

I am now using a Moto V 60i, much less technologically advanced, and I am able to do Voice Dialing by saying the person's name.

Just wondering, I have customers that refuse to give up their Startac. What happened at Motorola after the Startac? Why don't their phones work as well as the Startac? I know customers that the husband has a Startac and the wife has a current Motorola and the service between the two is amazing. They can be standing in the same spot calling the same place and the new phone will have almost no signal at all and the old Startac has a full signal. An ideas? Anyone on the inside know?

Are these two motorola phones identical (e550 and v330)?

I'm getting confused because of the Europe/UK/US branding differences.

If they are not identical, what other phones are identical to the v330 under different model names?

Any new phones coming out for Verizon that are smaller?

My friend and I both have new Razr V3 phones but we cant seem to send files to eachother. When We both have phone bluetooth powered ON and one phone set to discover sometimes they see eachother, sometimes not.. but even if they do see eachother they still cannot send a file like a ringtone or picture to the other phone.

We tried this with another friends Motorola phone (not a Razr) and it did not work either.

Any clues why this doesnt work ??

Anyone using a Motorola V330 yet with a 2005 BMW X5? Any details on the compatibility between these two?

I recently gave my 13 year old Daughter my Motorola V551 ..thinking i was stepping up a couple of notched getting the RAZR V3... as soon as i got home i realized that i couldnt take videos with this phone....PLEASE someone say it aint so !!!!!!!!

Still in my 30 day term; may send phone back w/note attached that I'm replacing with a Nokia since they let you dwonload the synch s/w for free.

Is it possible to delete any pre-installed pictures from the V600? And if it is, will you please tell me how?

Every time I "mark" a picture and then choose "delete marked," I'm asked whether I want to delete (x number of) picture(s). I choose "Yes," but the phone NEVER deletes the picture(s).

Again: HELP, please.

I called up Motorola today and asked if they are coming out with a Razr for Verizon.. They said no, but then how come so many rumors? Anybody know the actual truth.. I feel that because Verizon will never tell which phones are coming out and when, they are hiding it in a way.. but i just dont know. Anybody know? 🙄

I know what the features comparison is between these two phones roughly. A main issue for me is the analog on the V710 (which I probably don't need, but I would like to have). And the A840 works internationally.

I like the bluetooth but I can live without it.

Other then that, are the speakerphones the same or comparable? How about the menu - same basic logic and setup?

I have heard that the 710 gets great reception in places other phones don't. Is the same true with the 840?

Are there any gaping problems or quality issues with either of these two phones?

I have got a different answer everytime I talk with some one from Cingular (store, customer service, internet)so I need some real practical help. I recently purchased a motorola v400 from a1wireless.com and it arrived already activated with Cingular. I know (or was told) that I can use it in Europe and be on international roaming. I believe the guy on the phone said that he was activating that feature. No problem, I understand that. I also know (or think) that Int'l roaming would be much more expensive than if I purchased a sim card from a European company and used it with a European phone #. what does the V stand for in all the Moto phones ?

Am trying to decide between the V551 and the Razr V3 with reception being the most important factor as we are at the fringe of the nearest Cingular tower. Which one has better reception?

What do you think you Motorola's next batch of phones will be like?

A V635 successor would be cool. It should be called the V735. The V735 should have an external 16-bit color OLED display and 2MP camera.

Also, a V551 successor would likely be needed too. The V551 successor IMO should be called the V650, and should feature LED flash, 1MP camera, and external color LCD display.

A successor to the Razr V3 should be called the Razr V5. IMO it should have a similar feature set as my V650, but with a razor-thin design.

this is just my opinion but does it seem like moto phones (on the verizon network) are going downhill with quality. the reception seems to still be doing good but as far as duarbility in the phones it seems like they really dont seem to sturdy. the 710 started off as a big hit but then once it got some use, people really werent happy with it

the 265 looked like it was going to be a decent phone but once you hjelp it and played with it, it really wasnt that great.

the 120e was a popluar one and seemed to take quite a beating but still it was very basic and not a favored phone.

the 720/730 was just a joke. one of the first color screens and it the optioning in it was just terrible. you couldnt do much else with this phone. also the ...

My uncle has trouble reading text messages on his phone because he feels the size of the letters are too small. Does the V620 have a large display option? If so how do I access it for him?
