benefits of going w/ 4.5?
I was contemplating installing the CDMA version on my Verizon 8330 but before I went through the hassle I thought I would figure out if it was even worth the trouble.

Well, for starters it doesn't look like VZW has released their version of 4.5. At least, not that I've seen.
The benefits are a video camera if you don't already have one, an updated web browser with some new features, streaming youtube if you don't already have it, over the air update for future updates, more interactive themes, and better battery management. I'm sure I didn't list them all, but if you go to the download site it does.
