I have motorola phone tools but itwon't recognize the phone plus my service is through sprint.

I purchased a micro SD card and just drug my MP3's over to it. The phone has to upload the directory however it works great.... Sort of. It seems it will only recognize FAT formatting which won't allow me to use more than 35% of my 1.9 gig card which is driving me up a wall. Anyone with bright ideas?
