Faceplate Big Downside
Now that I've seen the phone in the store it's obvious they goofed with the shiny, smudgy, brittle faceplate. Had to have something to make it different from the RZR, but in six-months they'll have models with RZR-like matte metal faceplates, guaranteed. And I'd wait, too.

I'll also tell you about the improved reception and scratches and broken glass I don't have. And if MOTO has its act together, and reads this board, it won't take six months either. Then you can tell "us" why you're stuck for two years with a phone that's already obsolete and now costs $100 less. Fools (and early adopters) rush in, mgalster.

Actually, my KRZR has so far had perfect reception, so I don't think that will be an upgraded issue, fingerprint wise, I don't care, I just give it a quick rub with my shirt. Plus I have a neat phone that is state of the art and makes all the Razor people jealous right now, not six months from now when all the phones will be similarly sized!

Well, who knows if Moto will abandoned their glass front in six months. Hopefully they do come up with something though, the fingerprint / smudge problem is horrendous.

I know. This whole line of RZR-like phones is the key to their continued momentum in this highly competitive market. They can't afford not to correct their mistakes and significant technical drawbacks like questionable reception, and major aesthetic problems like smudging and fragility are going to be addressed pronto - or Moto risks losing the big time mystique (and profits)the RZR has delivered. It's that simple.
And even if there were none of the above, the KRZR's design is dull and totally lackluster - doesn't compar...
