Other suggestions for using MP3 as Ringtones?
I have gone through and through these forums and tried "tmp"'s method. It doesn't work for me. I was able to save the mp3 when I relied to the email but only as a sound. Not as a ringtone.
If you have had success with other methods, I would greatly appreciate any insight.
I have the K1m, purchased through Verizon a little over a week ago. Love the phone itself - so this isn't a dealbreaker. But it just seems a shame to not be able to use my own mp3's as ringtones if I wish.

The mp3 can only be 20 seconds long. anything over 20 secs will end up in the sounds folder and can't be used as a ring tone. Once the 20 sec ringtone is saved it shows up as a yellow icon in your ringtone list. good luck. TMP's thing works but again it can only be 20secs and I think since you recieve a pix/flix message to your phone, it costs .25 cents per text message... unless you have a pix/text package.
