wont play pre-set ringtones
I didnt have a problem before...but when I scroll through my ringtones It will not play. When i use the side keys to get to the master volume, it wont play my ringtone. The speaker works fine..my phone rings with the ringer I picked out. My Vcast song I downloaded plays just fine..its just that one control. Ive shut off my phone and turned it back on...Help please??

Mine did something like that I could not play any ring tones and the phone would not ring when someone called me but the reminder, text message, voice mail and every other ringer worked except for the one if someone would call me. I took it to verizon tech support and they played with it and it started working and has been fine since.

dude, not to worry. try this. record a video clip then play it back. while the video is in playback turn up the volume using the side keys. then try hearing your ringtones again. apparently, the "master volume" does not control all aspects of volume control. if you also notice, this will increase the volume of all your ringtones. hope that makes sense.

i stewed over that problem for days. i was about to have the vzn tech replace it since i was still within my 15 days. the problem occured right after i used the tmp method to add ringtones. i thought that messed up the software. i had noticed my voice notes did not play but the alarm sounded fine and the incoming call ring sounded fine. it was strange but i am glad things are back up and runnning strong.
