Motorola KRZR K1m

Anybody tried the bluetooth connection w/ your computer? It seems whenever I send any pics to k1m it will be accepted and then simply dissapear! I cannot find it from "my pictures". Also, I simply cannot push any mp3 or midi files to the phone....this thing is really driving me crazy. I had to purchase a song just to test the touch buttons on the front cover...yeah yeah I haven't got my memory card yet but not sure if it will bring more problems.

Do love the phone but verizon UI is real crap! I met w/ Verizon CTO earlier this year and obviously the UI on his razr is not crippled and was programmed to be much much more powerful...it can access all his mov collections stored in his home pc...

Would someone please give specifics on the differences between Alltel and Verizon Wireless' versions of the K1m?

I keep reading that Verizon crippled the K1m with its UI, and that the Alltel one is so much better. Why, specificaly, is it better? For instance, does the Verizon K1m not allow me to transfer pics from the phone to my PC by USB and/or Bluetooth, where this not an issue with the Alltel K1m? I have no idea if this statement is true; I'm just giving an example of what information I'm interested in knowing.

I'm trying to decide whether I should stick with VZW and get the K1m or go to Alltel and spend $149 for their K1m or stick with Verizon and get it for $99 after redeeming "New Every 2". I'm paying $59.99 for 400 min Americ...

Hi All,

I have a quick question on my Sprint KRZR that I just received in the mail.

On the Front Display, when the Flip is closed, it has a pre set Sprint Logo.

Might there be any way that I could change that to me own website logo, which is a JPeg file?

Mind you, technically I am not the most knowledgeable person, but if someone might be able to let me know if this is possible, and how, I am certain I can have one of my friends help me with this.

My Verizon Moto e815 is dying a slow and painful death. I need a new phone, with reception being my biggest issue. Is this the best current phone for reception? Camera, mp3, etc. are all of secondary importance to me. Is the lg 8600 the way to go?
ps...I'm a noob. Please don't flame me if this is a dumb question.

Im trying to decide which phone to get. KRZR or 8600. whats the full retail price of the KRZR, because i know the 8600 is only 250.

I was curious to know if everyone's phone does this or just mine...

When opening the flip, I notice that the spring doesn't seem to have much tension for the last 1/2" or so. Basically, the spring helps open the phone well 95% of the way, but the last 5% you almost have to do manually.

So if I open the phone all but that 1/4"-1/2" it will stay there because the spring is too week. Just want to make sure this is a design issue and not a defect.

Anyone else notice this?

I've tried reformatting my SD card because when I copy music and photos onto it- only one photo can be viewed in the folder at a time. Everytime I take out the card and put it back in, it's a different photo- yet only one! Even though I have many mp3's in the music folder on the card, only one track appears on the phone menu as well.

Has anyone else had issues like this??
Also, now when I try to start the music application I get "Error M508: Application Error. An error has occurred. Please try again later."

My new every 2 is up. I am leaning towards the KRZR since Moto has far better reception than LG by my experience. I heard the 8500 ends calls sometimes since the buttons are too sensititive and the 8600 doesn't seem to be anything special. I am thinking, and according to VW, that when pricing changes around Nov. 26th, the KRZR may drop a bit in price for the Xmas season. Any thoughts or insight?

Just got a KRZR to test against my 8600 and 8300.

The battery is really bad.. 55 mins of talk and I am at last bar.. This is scary.

I am getting 3-4 hours on the 8300 and almost that on the 8600.

I hate the 8600 keypad but the screen is insanely good.

The KRZR Bluetooth has them all beat so I dont know what to do ?

I want LG's screen and battery life in the Bluetooth shell of the Moto 🙂

This is terrible how every phone has huge issues..

I think the 8300 is still going to be my everyday, not sure.

I have got a 512MB card for my krzr and i stored some songs on it. Can somebody tell me how to play the music files on my sd card on my phone. Everytime i go to music it would take me to the sprint music store and i dont wanna go to the music store.

Any views? I am up for a 2 year renewal. I want a phone that works, good sound, long battery. The smaller the better, so long as the buttons are not mushy.

So far I've been able to do all the hard stuff with my KRZR; mp3 as ringtone, sync music, caller id pics, etc., and now something so simple has stopped me...

I have paired my phone with a pair of bluetooth headphones, and while I can make & receive calls with it, music still comes out of the speaker on the handset only. Any help?

ps I mention the other stuff just so you see that I have some clue. for my phonescoop street cred.

Just got my Sprint K1m, and trying to set up DUN/tethering on it via Bluetooth.

I've got it paired with my XP machine, and it shows up as a Modem device which appears to be working fine. I've set up the dial up number as #777, and username 'web' password 'web'. I hit Dial and the phone asks for permission to use DUN, which I hit Grant.

However, then XP after 1-2 seconds comes back with "The Remote Computer Did not respond".

Has anyone got this working yet, and are there any steps I'm missing here?

What is your opinion of the LG CHOCOLATE? 🤣

When I charge my KRZR it doesn't have a battery progress indicator to let me know how close the phone is to being charged and it never says "charge complete." Is this normal on all KRZR's? I am using the extended battery. Thanks!
