Motorola KRZR K1

Yeah, this is confusing me as well. I picked one up at my local Cingular store yesterday and it was cosmic blue and NO external touch buttons 😕
However, on the Cingular website it shows a Black KRZR w/ external touch buttons 😕 . I called Cingular had customer service look into it and what they told me was it is black on the inside but blue on the outside. 🤨 It looks black because of the flash of the camera that took the picture. And the touch buttons are supposed to be on the phone. I'm going to find out myself, so I have one from Cingular online coming and we'll see if the phones differ from online/phone order and in-store.

whats the latest news on good old cingy? before Xmas? Easter?

Am I the only one NOT having any issues with the new unlocked version?? I have it all working and even found a clip on hard plastic case for it from ebay.Will protect the glass front and keep the yucky finger prints off. THO I do like my 6682 the best. The Krzr looks pretty neat and does get people's attention. Now hope I didn't jinx myself with this report.

Anyone know if the phone will be available cheaper through places like Besy Buy? I am waiting to renew my contract and would like to try this phone, but 200 seems a little pricey...

249.99 with a 50 dollar mail in rebate 2 yr agreement. 419.99 outright w/o a contract.

I have the krzr and I have the mini sd chip for it. I put about 100 songs on it but once i plug it in to the phone only about 22 show up, I have tried to sync it with media player, and I have also tried it with the drag and drop method. Is there a step that I am missing?

the front (exterior) display is illegible when viewed in direct sunlight. I have not been able to find another review that says the same thing (although some do say the quality of the exterior display is poor). Can anyone confirm or deny that sunlight makes the front display extremely hard to read?

I recently bought an LG phone as a replacement for my Motorola V400. There were a number of features that the LG didn't support, so I ultimately returned it. I didn't realize just how important those features were to me.

So before I buy this KRZR K1, I'd like to find out if it will support the features that matter most to me.

1) When the phone is not in use (just sitting on the desk), does the front display stay on showing the time? On the LG, the front display would blank out after a minute or two. Hate that. I want to know what time it is without having to push a button.

2) When entering a text message, do the keys support Spanish characters? The V400 does not, but the V551 does (so the 6 key has m, n, n with tilde, o, and 6...

Just got unlocked K1 and configure to T-Mobile.
I can not figure out the voice dial. When i push the voice dial button i get "No voice names are stored in the phonebook". This phone is supose to have voice recognition.

Just Got Krazr K1-

On all other Moto's when you change the wallpaper it changes the display both on the inside AND outside. On the Krazr is appears to only change the inside. Does anyone know if you can change the wallpaper on the mini display on the outside of the handset. The only colors is displays are Black and White. No wallpapers. THANKS!

I just spoke with a rep at the Motorola Krzr support line who informed me that T-Mobile would be offering the KRZR K1 GSM model in January.

I then called T-Mobile to verify that, but the rep with whom I spoke didn't know about it yet. She was told by her supervisor, however, that if it were the case it would be on or about the end of January.

Maybe everyone already knows that, but it was news to me, so I thought I'd share.
