Motorola SLVR L7c

I will be recieving this phone in the mail on tuesday and I was just wondering if this phone works with BitPim for putting ringtones on the phone, like you can with the LG 8300. If not is there any other way that I can put ringtones on my phone with out purchasing them from Verizon?

I am due for a new phone in about a week and I like the look and feel of the Moto Slvr. I am really tired of flip phones and Verizon doesn't offer many alternatives. Chocolate seems fraught with a bad dial pad and buttiins that have a mind of their own.

Here is waht I don't care about:
1.Camera (my wife has a razr with megapizel camera and I think my samsung 670 with VGA camera takes comperable pictures....besides its a phone
2.Vcast garbage

I do want a phone that gets a good signal and gets a good call quality (Cnet kind of bashes this but many reviewers here say it sounds good) Is the mic on the side a real negative? Decent battery life. I would like to use the mp3 player, but not sure if I care that much.

Is anyone else having video playback problems on their L7c? i cannot watch more than 1.5 sometimes 2.5 minutes of video w/o the phone pausing the video and then restarting the video. anyone else having a problem like this? im not talking about video ive taken with the phone camera, this is video tranfered via usb from my computer converted to mp4 format for the phone to be able to play.

I am looking into getting a SLVR and I was wondering how the phone connects to the computer? Is it through USB or...? Can you use mp3s as ringtones and how do you transfer mp3s from your cpu to the phone? Does the phone include software and cables to connect to the cpu or do I need to buy it separately?

Anyone interested in trading their like new verizon slvr for a like new verizon razr v3m(gun metal grey)? I think I want to go back to the candy bar style instead of the flip phone. ok, so i have a Motorola slvr L7c w/ us cellular. does anyone have the same problem of of getting only sound to one ear when you plug in a stereo headset. i have this problem w/ both Motorola brand and other brand headsets. i also tried a usb to 2.5 and usb to 3.5 adapter, and had the same problem. if you have found an answer to this problem, just shy of getting out the soldering gun; please let me know.

I just bought the slvr7c. I cannot download any music from my windoews media player to my mp3 player on my phone. I have tried the USB cable and the micro sd memory card.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just bought the Slvr phone. Is the vibrate mode on your phones not that good either. When it's on vibrate I can hear it more then the phone actually Vibrating. Is that how this phone is?? Also the speaker being on the back of the phone kind of stinks too, you can't hear the phone ring too loud. Other then that -it's a sharp phone.

Does it take a 3.5 mm headset? The verizon site says it doesnt take 2.5 so i was wondering.

Hello...love my moto. I've only got a couple of mp3's which I dl'd thru the phone, but not iTunes or wma. I'm with Metro.

My question: Does anyone know whether a 2gb card is compatible? Is there truly a 100 song limit regardless of card capacity? If so, can the remaining storage space be used for video and photos?

I am hating this phone so far for one reason. the inability to have a good ringtone. I cannot seem to send my old ringtones from vzwpix to this new phone. It only saves the file as a sound file but does not put it as an option for a ringtone. I went to GetItNow and bought a few tones but they play so quietly you can hardly hear then? Am I doing something wrong? Is there anyway around this or should I just return this phone?

I'm a customer with US Cellular service. I currently have the first Razr phone they came out with. I'm looking to switch phones.
I really like the Slvr, but I want to know if anyone has any other suggestions, I'm a big Motorola Fan. The guy at the store last night said most people switch from a non flip to a flip phone, not from a flip phone to a non flip.
I just think the Slvr is a little more Skinny and smaller. If you think about it when you're using the Razr it's like the slvr. I also text a lot.

Just looking for some advise and feedback on the Slvr???

As a phone junkie and a person that has used the Sprint L7c, and is now using the Verizon L7c as a second line, I want to Share the similaroties differences between both SLVR's.

SIMILARITIES:
Both are affordable
Both have bluetooth file restrictions of some degree (unlike the SLVR's with Cingular, Cricket, etc....)
Good voice quality
Always has signal
Slim and compact, yet effective
Slow at times, but nothing too bothersome
Must put pics on phone setting to use as wallpaper and or picture ID.
They both have decent camera/video, for being VGA.


DIFFRENCES:
Sprint:

Comes with 64mb card
Only allows up to 30 second videos
No bluetooth file transfer, other than Vcard (sharing phone numbers, for those that don't know)

I have the SLVR phone GSM version with T-mobile. Reception sucks so i hope the VZW CDMA ones are better? Although I've heard signal on this VZW phone sucks too.. so maybe it's Motorola... Any feedback with regards to this? Also how's battery life... is the UI as slow as the KRZR?

Has anyone heard of stores getting these yet ?

It seems that Verizon is finally releasing this phone.

However, does anyone know if I can use the SLVR L7c to play my Itunes instead using my ipod ? Or must I only use VZW's music.
