hey guys i just got this samsung phone. here is my question..at the main screen you can press the arrows to get two shortcuts in the menu. fot example if you press down it goes straight to your phone contacts. is there any way to change the short cuts??

No, it's not possible with this model, and believe me, I've been trying for a while. I think it's T-Mobile's fault. They pretty much removed all the customization options...
