Hey all,
How is text messaging on this phone? I would think it would be a little difficult as the keypad is in a sort of inconvenient place that would seem to be hard to reach.
Any info is appreciated. Thanks

Actually, just slide the flip up, and that reveals a nice set of, large, nicely spaced buttons, easy to press and type, and navigate with.

Pro's excellent size, nice size buttons, user-friendly, superb screen display, nice speakerphone, easy-to slide/rotate screen, very nice-looking LG Menu, vcast mobile tv is great, bluetooth file transfer. Excellent "fun animations" for wallpapers, and many others. Have had no RF problems yet.
Con's, wish battery life would be longer, but because of the tv, and very high screen resolution, I sort of understand. And, I wish it were at least a 2 megapixel camera.

yes, that's how you access the keypad, but sliding the screen sideways. It's very easy to do.

Actually yes, it would look dumb to talk with the screen sideways, that's why I don't do that. It's not a complicated issue, the screen slides very easily with one hand, just slide it down when you are talking, slide it up to access the phone number buttons.

Why isn't the LG VX9400 a mobile tv phone? It is a tv phone?! 🤣

I just got mine today ..an upgrade from the vx8100 (which I loved). It does seem a bit difficult to text on this phone but I have long nails so that may be the problem. Oh ..and the "clr" key is in an odd place. Other than that love the phone, especially the screen!! I am gonna hang on to it a bit and hopefully I can get used to the keyboard set up 😉
