Pump up a bunch of people waiting and waiting for this phone with vague references to a release date on Cingular.
Due date comes and no phone (of course).
Then, conveniently give an EBAY link to an overpriced, unlocked version trying to capitalize on a frustration-soaked purchase by those poor individuals.
You know what? NO DICE.
I'm a patient man and I will not be ripped off.
My current phone works just fine until the "official" non-ripoff release from Cingular.
DON'T BUY THIS PHONE FROM EBAY AND GET TAKEN!

We all want an official Cingular release. No way I'm paying over $250 for this phone w/contract, possibly $350ish without.

You target individuals who could be considered "enthusiasts" (at this point!) to get a sale despite the ridiculous price.
Just like a used car salesman, he engages in activities that are ethically reprehensible and illegal on many fronts to make those sales (profits).
In short, there is NO REASON for anyone to buy a seriously price-gouged phone that is not supported by Cingular and has no insurance.
The best way to "get him back" is to ignore any other comments by him and his overpriced phone. Let...
