8700 w/ Garmin Nuvi 360 GPS - Bluetooth Issues

Also, once there is a connection, it automatically downloads (or whatever you call it) all of the contacts on your cellphone (VX8700).
Be sure that on the Garmin that Bluetooth is enabled and that the cellphone - under bluetooth menu that "NUVI # OF GARMIN) is shown.
When this is true, there will be a phone shown on the main menu of the Garmin.

I've gotten the 360 to make an initial connection with the 8700, but within about 10 or 20 seconds, the connection is lost, and there's no way to re-pair the two withour turning the 8700 completely off and on again. I've attempted to start the process of pulling over the contacts, but it never happens and again the connection automatically severs. Yes, I see the phone icon on the 360, but that disappears after the connection is lost.
If you have an 8700 working with the 360, I'd love to know the various versions of software/firmware you have on the phone and on the 360. I ran an update on the 360, so I'm sure the bluetooth software on that is up to ...

The first suggest would be to unpair the 2 units and then again pair them together.
