Ready to upgrade from I730 to I760 just need some answers
OK, I'm currently using the I730 and am looking to upgrade to either the I760 or Blackberry 8130. My biggest question with the 760 is "Is it a real upgrade from the 730?" and I know it has all the stuff like #keys on the front and camera (all of which I love) but what about all the stuff I hate. i.e.: (1)ever since I upgraded the 730 to WM5 the phone needs to be reset like 2-5times a day. (2) battery life. I have to charge my phone everyday on the standard battery is that still the case with the 760? (3) the screen backlight will always turn off and it wont come back on (tap screen or press button) unless I do a soft reset. (4)speed at which the device runs, by this i mean most of the time this thing is just chugging along, takes forever ...

(1) Reset: I've had the phone for a bit over a month and I need to soft reset once a day, hard reset maybe every other day.
(2) battery life: I use the standard battery b/c its smaller, and I tend to check email every hour, and spend 1-2 hours a day on the phone from 8 AM. By 7 PM its essentially dead.
(3) screen backlight: no issues so far.
(4) speed: actually very fast, especially at changing from portrait to landscape and back. I use SPB Pocket Plus to make the "X" a true close, so I never have more than 1 or 2 programs running.
(5) type with one hand: its a big device, so I tend to use both thumbs to type, and cradle the phone with my palms. I think using one hand to type might still be difficult.

You probably just held the lock/power switch down too long, which toggles the backlight. Just hold down the switch for 2 seconds to turn it back on.
