Alternatively, if you want a direct link, go to http://handsets.utstar.com/downloads/XV6800%2 0MR1%20Upgrade.zip (I gave the VZW Support link first to demonstrate this is a legitimate Verizon Wireless release).
Some of the primary enhancements with this upgrade are:
• Upgraded OS to Windows Mobile 6.1
• Added EVDO Rev A capability
• Updated the MMS client to be compatible with WM 6.1
• Added Microsoft Remote Desktop Application
• Added capability to use VzNavigator application.
• Resolved compatibility issues with Microsoft Voice Command

• Added capability to read micro SD card of up to 16GB memory.
Note: the update erases everything from memory. As such, I need to wait to install this update until I get time to reinstall all of my PPC apps.
