HTC Mogul / XV6800 / PPC6800 / P4000

HI....I'M INTERESTED IN BUYING THE HTC MOGUL BUT I HEAR BLUETOOTH WILL NOT STAY CONNECTED....I HAVE A MOTOROLA H700....DO ANYONE KNW IF THIS BLUETOOTH WORKS WELL W/ THE MOGUL? TKS A MIL!

I read on another message board that the HTC 6800 may be coming to US Cellular in the near future...like between now (4/1/0😎 and June. Has anyone else heard this? I don't want to get my hopes up for nothing.

I don't know how this happened but all of a sudden out of no where, every time i push the END button I get this loud Beep sound. It's very annoying..I don't know how to turn it off...i've tried everything! does this happen to anyone else? or if some one knows how to fix this..please help!!

Anyone had any problems with this phone missing calls when it's in standby? I had it set on vibrate and ring, and if I was using the phone it would do just that. If it was in standby mode it wouldn't do anything, and then give me a vibrate to say I missed a call, often quite a while after the original call. Tonight I recieved one at midnight to find out my buddy called at 10pm.

I'm going to try turning Vibrate and ring off and just setting it on ring, but has anyone else had any problems like this?

Is there anyway for us to turn that "Status light" its green and keeps flashing every so many seconds off?????

I have a customer that is frustrated with that light that blinks every so many seconds. I checked notifications and everything but it wont work.

Please reply to this thread if you know of anything?

i have this phone with sprint with unlimited data. Please can anyone tell me how can i use this phone as a modem for my notebook.Thanks

If I use Yahoo email to send emails it will often send 2 or 3 of the same email over an hour or so. Not all at once. It seems to just keep sending it for a while. I am not using Yahoo Go. Just regular Yahoo on a mobile device. The url looks like us.m.yahoo.com/p/mail.

Does this happen to anybody else? I am using VX6800 on Verizon.

My video app that I had on my Mogule to do streaming vids on youtube and google videos and stuff stop working and was giving me a wierd error when I would pick a vid to watch, anyone know whats going on and if there may be a new updated program or something out there? Also my mms program stopped working too, I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!

I currently have the Mogul, well I have vista on my pc which has the built in sync software, Well I cant figure out how to save contacts, so in case i lose my phone i could sync my new phone to it and it would restore my contacts, I dont have outlook either, is there some program i dont know about i could use,
I thought it would auto do it, but i had to do a master reset the other day, and i found out much to my dismay it doesnt auto store my contacts

Please help

Is it gone temporarily from the Sprint website? Is it still available?

So, since I cannot edit my review on this phone which I apparently did too early, here's an update; adjust the review stars accordingly, my original one was a 3.5, now it's a 1 star (I give it one star cause it does make calls sometimes).

my gripes:

The 3 major problems I have with the xv6800 are:

DIALING! the soft dial keys are absurdly slow to respond... I find myself using the back space button more than any other because the damn thing doesn't register a number pushed and further doesn't display that problem for a second or two when it happens - pain in the butt. As for the hard keys, slide it out...wait, wait, wait, wait, wait...oh now you can dial, then deal with the slow to respond thing some more.

There is an alternative program developed. I am using it on my "Touch". Its not true MMS. It uses your email to send the pictures. You can and have always been able to send pictures via email, that come through to the recieving party as a text message with a link to the picture. For example, with Sprint users to send a pic to another sprint user, you send it to. (xxx)[email protected]. There is also a service called Ptkpix that you can use. (xxx)[email protected] The picture will be sent to the reciever reguardless of their carrier. This program by No2Chem does it all for you. Just makes it easier than manually sending it by e-mail. What are you guys using to rip a movie, then pop it on your phone? I tried taking a vid I converted through pspvideo9 (mpeg4), but when I drag it over, it will start to transfer the file ... stop and reset itself ... then do it all over again and never finish. I'd greatly appreciate some help in this matter. (Work firewall blocks access to ppcgeeks.com)

New rom successful but still a memory ram leak ?

thinking of purchasing. would like to know if phone can be set up like the "touch" where in the speed dials can be displayed as just a group of pictures. if it is a standard app. that is great. if it is possible through a hack of some sort that info would be nice to know. thx.
