Does the AT&T version look...clunky?
Just picked one up, because my phone just died. My wife has the VZW version, which looks a lot cooler. Keyboard is great, but this may go back.
Does anyone prefer the AT&T look? I'm pretty disappointed - the silver emphasizes the width, and together with the blue on the keys it looks cheap and clunky.
Why can't a business device have some style? Argh....

I think the phone looks great. Far more business like than the VZW model with the red racing strips. Also, this one come with 2 batteries. Standard and extended.

Glad you like it. Based on my informal polling, you're quite an exception.
I've asked a few people now, and can't find anyone that thinks it looks good. I'm really trying to like it the looks, but man, it's hard. Why did AT&T have to mess with the looks so much?
I also notice the AT&T logo on the key that activates the start menu / windows logo. That's pretty funny.

Well you can always put a case on the phone and hide the silver. As for the the button its not the AT&T logo its just the web browser key.

I agree that black would have looked better. However, I likely would not have noticed it much had I not read folks complaining about it. A minor flaw on an otherwise darn cool device. Had you never seen how it was originally supposed to look, would it still bother you?

I like how it looks, and I prefer it to the VZW version. Taste is individual.
I also like (so far) all the things AT&T put in it, like XM Radio. And the GPS is awesome. I think what the phone does is more important than how you think it looks...

I just don't see the issue with the looks. I think they are fine but I don't buy for looks, I buy for functionality. The Q9 Global has more fuctionality than the Q9M and, IMO, looks for professional. However, if you are buying for mainly looks I'm sure there is something you'll like better out there.
