Pantech Duo C810

This may be a dumb question, but i think im second guessing myself.
can a duo be used for teathering?

Anyone's personal opinion on if I had a choice between the two..which one? I'm used to my Blackberry pearl, but want to upgrade to a different one..

My daughter's Duo locked up earlier this evening. She took the battery off and tried to restart and it seems to do nothing now. She plugged it in and the light doesn't even come on.

I've tried all the normal stuff (take out the sim and memory, make sure battery contacts are clean, etc).

Any ideas? This thing is only 3 months old.

i was thinking about buying this phone for 100 dollars and i just wanted if it would work with my existing gophone sim card?

I am looking at getting the Pantech Duo with AT&T and wanted to know if using Windows Mobile costed me anything monthly.

I am also wondering if there is a newer version coming out.

Does ne one know how to download youtube videos onto the Duo?

I just got the Duo and am having problems while trying to type numbers/symbols while in a call. For example my work voice mail system requires you to hit * * then a mailbox and a password, but when i hit the * it does not do anything. It shows it on the screen but does not send it. Any help would be great!

I just got this phone about 4 days ago and I really, really want to love it unconditionally, but I can't yet.

1) The speaker is muffled and hard to hear!
2) The photo quality is completely unacceptable! I could spend $10 on a drugstore digital camera and get better quality photos!

Any suggestions or ideas? Or should I just take it back??

I HAVE TWO PHONE PANTECH DUO C810. I WAS ABLE TO SYNC ONE OF THEM, BUT THE OTHER ONE WILL NOT. HOW COME, ANYBODY HAS ANY INFO. 🙄

Hey every one, just to let you all know. I am an employee for at&t and i personally own the duo. There is a setting you can change to get the phone to answer when it is slid open. Settings - phone - call options - check any key answer. This will in turn answer calls when the slide is opened. I was unable to find an option however to end calls by sliding the slide shut. I hope this helps.

How do you lower the ringer volume? Its extremely loud.

ok I can add ringtones by drag and drop while it's plugged into my pc but why can't i add to my notification sounds? Has anyone fiqured that out? I tried drag and drop into the sounds folder on the phone that isn't it. Please can someone help me cause the notifications on that came with the phone I never hear and need to add my own?

I'm looking forward to buying this phone in a few weeks.
I'm just wondering how is the service?. . . if you don't live in the city.
I've had bad luck with my latest phone and not being able to get service anywhere.
So just wondering if this phone is a waste of time???

Besides that it runs super hot and battery life is unacceptable.

1. I can't really hear what people are saying through the handset earpiece. This is the 2nd DUO i picked up.

2. BLUETOOTH disconnects when I'm on a call if a email or text message come in. I can hear the caller but the caller can't here me.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Just a side note. Windows Media Player doesn't show the track name any where in the skin they chose. Clearly this phone has not been tested.

1-How loud is the ringer & vibrate?
2- What about the speakerphone? Speaker seems real small.
3- How is the voice dialing/digit dialing? Accurate?
4- What about the bluetooth?

This supposedly has been out since 2006, but I can't find it anywhere on the net to purchase. Is it for real? If so, we can pop it on top of this phone and get WiFi.
